ABSTRACT
This concluding chapter follows the same structure as Chapters 4–17. It commences with a brief discussion of the differing contexts for the SEA of land use plans in the 13 countries and the World Bank covered in this book. The various case studies presented in the different chapters are then reviewed. The evaluation of the SEA of land use plans is split into three sections. An evaluation table drawing together all 14 jurisdictions is presented, which enables comparisons to be drawn between aspects of the SEA systems and, to a lesser extent, between countries.
