ABSTRACT
The case studies in this book are a special collection of attempts aimed at putting people first in the development process. They are challenging but very worthwhile efforts intended to find ways ofusing development communication
tools and methods in decidedly participatory ways that advance the collective priorities of communities as determined by themselves.
