ABSTRACT

Turbulent waters are like the contents of your blender after you have pressed button number 101 – they are anything but clear. The turbulent waters and swirls and eddies in an overgrown stream, tumbling down a steep mountain after a heavy rainfall, pick up sediments from the bottom and mix them with the mud the storm has collected. One cannot see the stream’s bottom or the fish in it as one might in a still, shallow pond.
