ABSTRACT
Tanzania is an African country that has great agricultural potential, and at the same time is affected strongly by changing sugar trade regulations. Currently, it does not have a policy framework for biofuels. This study assesses the resource base, policy environment and other factors that will influence the potential for future biofuel production in the country.
