ABSTRACT

The following two chapters introduce some of the basic techniques that you can use to analyze your PBR data. In them, we discuss how to approach your analysis with both qualitative and quantitative data. For analyzing quantitative data we provide a discussion of some very basic statistics. But there is no reason to fear. Our purpose is to demonstrate that anyone can do data analysis. In fact, we will try to convince you that as a practitioner-researcher you are uniquely placed to ask the most practice-relevant questions of your data. Likewise, in Chapter 13 which focuses on interpretation of findings, we will argue that you are in the best position to understand their practice implications as well.
