ABSTRACT

There are many advantages to measuring organizational productivity with a system like ProMES. We now turn to a discussion of how to do such measurement. Before the measurement process is even started, some conditions are necessary for a successful implementation. These conditions apply to ProMES or to any other productivity measurement system. Some of these are a fairly simple matter of getting the necessary information while others are more complex, such as organizational attitudes needed for successful implementation of a productivity measurement and improvement system.
