ABSTRACT
The first book in this pair discussed the importance of your consideration of your job with regard to two factors: first, in terms of your own professional development in improving your skills as an HLTA, particularly observation, and second, in terms of your thinking about your future career. Our ultimate aim in education is to promote learning for all involved, and in schools that means pupils and staff. You may feel, if you have already gained the HLTA status, that you have reached the pinnacle and so do not have to learn any more, that you know all that is needed to do your job.
