ABSTRACT
A teaching aide may have a different title in different countries and indeed in different schools. Classroom aide, classroom assistant, and teaching assistant are some of the variations. The teaching aide may not work exclusively with children with disabilities/disorders, but as with a regular teacher, she will need an understanding to special education. Where the teaching aide does work with special children, this may be with individuals or small groups.
