ABSTRACT

It will be recalled from the model of the learning processes produced in Chapter 2 that there were other factors involved in learning than those which have thus far been discussed and each of these needs to be analysed. Hence, this chapter examines all of the remaining factors, including: practice/experimentation; memorisation, evaluation; the person changed and more experienced. These four factors constitute the four main sections of the chapter, and this follows the order suggested above. However, it is difficult to get an entirely logical sequence since the learning processes are so complex and overlapping. The reason why this sequence was chosen was simply because in each succeeding box in the model an increasing number of arrows flow in, indicating that that particular factor is present in an increasing number of different learning processes.
