ABSTRACT
There are some general considerations which are relevant throughout a child’s educational career and others which are more pertinent at different key stages. The maintenance and enhancement of self-esteem will be relevant to all the key stages and there are four main additional challenges for a dyspraxic child in Key Stages 1 and 2:
effective communication;
handwriting and setting out work;
reading;
organisational skills.
