ABSTRACT

In drawing this book to a close I want to briefly mention some final ideas for supporting systemic change, raise some notes of caution for intrepid behaviour support teams and finish with some hopeful thoughts. In preparing this summary chapter I have also attempted to draw together a series of observations from my work with a number of LEA services, outreach teams and on-site units from around the country. On the basis of this experience I have tried to make some sense of what kind of future might be in store for behaviour support.
