ABSTRACT

The previous chapters have sought to identify Able Underachievers’ perceptions of how others relate to them, and their views about the curriculum in schools and other learning opportunities. This chapter is centred on the personal and emotional needs that affect Able Underachievers. In Chapters 2 and 3 we highlighted the fact that Able Underachievers are also affected by the personal and emotional needs of others. This will also be taken into consideration.
