ABSTRACT
Biometric technology (hereafter also referred to as ‘biometrics’) raises multiple rational concerns wherever it is applied. Based on the general understanding of biometrics established in Chapter 2, this chapter considers the complexities involved in implementing biometric technology by focusing on the security and privacy concerns this technology raises.
