ABSTRACT
Infill housing is built on vacant lots within an already-developed area that was previously occupied or never used. These sites are now taking on additional significance due to the need to limit urban sprawl. Since infill sites are commonly located in urban areas, townhouses are suitable housing types for such projects. This chapter discusses issues related to the use of townhouses in infill projects and examines strategies for their integration.
