ABSTRACT
I am a 24-year-old lesbian. I live in Soweto. I started school here in Soweto but when I reached high school, my mother felt I should go to boarding school. So from the age of about 13, I was sent first to Swaziland and then to Nelspruit, in the Eastern Transvaal.
