ABSTRACT
The chapters on experimentation, lecturing, collaboration, and visualization suggest that teaching inquiry according to KI patterns can improve learning outcomes. In this chapter we discuss ways to align instruction and professional development to enhance learning outcomes. We contrast typical professional development informed by the absorption approach with professional development that is informed by a KI perspective.
