ABSTRACT
In this chapter many of the details of our investigation are given. They make hard and dull reading, and it is better to use them as a quarry than to read them as a straight narrative. The figures are the processed result of a long investigation, and the tables represent what we take to be the necessary minimum of statistics to illustrate our results.2
