ABSTRACT
Much has been written about form letters. Whole books. Maxims have been enunciated. It has been said that the first sentence of a form letter should begin with the word “you” and not the word “we.” It has been said that first paragraphs should be written so as to grip the reader's interest, second paragraphs to sustain that interest, and last paragraphs to clinch the argument, and so on.
