ABSTRACT
Cognitive psychology is concerned with the study of cognitive structures and the processes underlying human information processing. This approach generally assumes that information about all aspects of the environment that are important for a natural cognitive system, is mentally represented. Cognitive operations are carried out on these representations to produce an integrative representation of the environment that allows adequate behavioral responses.
