ABSTRACT

Once you have gathered your data, you will need to organize your notes for effective analysis. Organize by dividing your notes into relevant categories that facilitate fact-driven analysis and sound conclusions. Each category should be labeled, that is, coded for ease of reference during analysis. The object is to capture a global view of the facts commanded by logic of the data rather than by writer whim. The point is to ensure that verified facts reveal the meaning inherent in the whole and to avert biased conclusions. But first it may be useful to review what you have learned to do so far.
