ABSTRACT

Here we detail resources that describe the process and organizations that implement U.S. communications policy. Included are the congressional, executive, independent agency, and judicial portions of the federal government, among them the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (0947) and Federal Communications Commission (0950). We have included descriptions of each of these federal legislative, regulatory, and judicial agencies because current information on a bill, regulation, or decision can often best be obtained by a phone call or faxed request.
