ABSTRACT
A second policy was designed to give reasonable performance with either a one-quarter or a two-quarter delay in policy implementation. This was achieved by designing the policy while assuming the existence of twoquarter delays, and then checking that its performance was still acceptable if the delays were reduced. Details of the design process are available in Maciejowski and Vines (1982).
