ABSTRACT
Storytelling is familiar territory for young children. This unit aims to illustrate for children storytelling as a particular form of expression. It is that skill that some of the great religious leaders used to convey their messages and their teachings, and that members of religious traditions continue to use. Storytelling is the concept or key idea in focus, so the children will need to engage with some stories in order to consider the purpose of the storytelling. A number of stories are provided in this unit.
