The game of tennis has dramatically changed over the last fifteen years in that it is now a game dominated by the serve. The increase in the speed of the serve has meant that aces and one or two shot rallies are now becoming commonplace. It is now accepted on the professional circuit that it is difficult to compete at the top level without a fast serve.
