ABSTRACT
Management development is concerned with ensuring that an organization has the quantity and quality of managers it needs to meet its current objectives and strategic goals, the latter generally being the prime focus. Although larger organizations will require more complex processes to manage their management development activity, the principles of good practice and the core disciplines required will remain much the same, regardless of size.
