ABSTRACT

CASE PRESENTATION A 70-year-old man presented with a 10-year history of bilateral hand tremor. He noticed the tremor mainly when drinking from a cup or holding heavy objects, but not at rest. He also developed gait instability about 5 years prior to presentation, worsening to the point where he had 8-10 falls in 1 year. He reported extreme fatigue and weakness in his lower extremities after walking, and he described ‘jerks’ of his right hand that occurred infrequently and had been present for a long time.
