ABSTRACT
As is frequently noted in this book, the quality of test items depends on two complementary activities, the item review procedures featured in chapter 8 and the statistical study of item responses featured in this chapter. The documentation of these review procedures and the statistical studies discussed in this chapter provide two important sources of validity evidence desired in a validation.
