ABSTRACT
Folk songs are those songs which are created instinctively and immediately by the people. The folk songs of a given nation are so characteristic that it is not possible to confuse them with those of foreign or related nations. To what extent the songs of the present collection correspond in structure and harmony with the spirit and style of Armenian folk songs will be demonstrated in the following study.
