I was pleased the other Night with the ingenious Confession of a Gentleman, who sat by me at the Oratorio;2 who, after having expressed a Dislike to the Composition, and declared that the Opera was in his Opinion greatly its Superior, very shortly assured us all, that he had not the least Taste or Judgment in Music.
