JusttothewestoftheruinsofthechurchofSt. Polyeukto;:;,whichweexaminedonourlasttour,weccme tothefinecomplexofAmcazadeHUseyinPa~a.recently restored.Thisisoneofthemostelaborateandpicturesque ofthesmallerclassicalcomplexes.ItwasbuiltbyHUseyin Pa§awhilehewasGrandVezir(1697-1702)underMustafa II,andthuscomesattheveryendoftheclassicalperiod.
