ABSTRACT

Having set out to question the divisiveness of dualisms and their relationship to a split consciousness, we became engulfed in an experience that has taken us deeper than we might logically have expected. Underlying the apparent meanings inherent in each such bundle of dualisms, we have discovered deeper processes which their apparent meanings both reflect and conceal. The apparent meanings conceal, because if we accept them unquestioningly and in terms of their differing content, then exactly thereby we fail to notice the deeper process they also signify and share in common.
