ABSTRACT
A ttention has already been drawn to the historic role o f the script in the hermetic preservation o f the ginanic literature, both in the MS tradition and in the early printed editions upon which our texts are based. In view o f the relative unfamiliarity o f the G ujarati script in the West, it has seemed more practical to present these texts in roman transcription here. The principles determining our romanization o f Khojki are explained below [03: 2-4].
