ABSTRACT

Through in-service training, written materials, continuing education opportunities, and conferences throughout the country, behavior analysts are becoming more sophisticated when it comes to knowing the content of the Guidelines for Responsible Conduct. What behavior analysts are having a hard time with is what to say to another person or exactly how to handle a situation when an ethics problem has been identi—ed. Saying no or giving someone feedback that what they are doing is not appropriate are diªcult tasks for many people, and knowing exactly what to say and do when faced with an ethics issue is o¤en far more diªcult than identifying the issue and speci—c code item.
