However, some of its other members belonged to other sub-sections; Mashak and Taj, for example, were Abd al-Rahman Khels from Spli Toi, and Boyak an Abdullai from Makin. Their own personal links with the Nawab probably brought the more distantly-related members of Ahmed Khan's group together, though tarburwali may have encouraged them to look for allies outside the circle of their own close relatives in the first place.
