ABSTRACT
This collection is principally concerned with the effectiveness of offender supervision. It aims to look beyond questions of the effectiveness of particular intervention programmes or models to examine a much wider range of questions about the moral, political, organisational, professional and inter-personal contexts of offender supervision – and to examine how its associated practices relate to the processes of desistance and reintegration that they exist to support.
