ABSTRACT
This chapter looks at two remaining word classes not yet covered in this book: adnouns and adverbs. We will also look at prefixes and suffixes in this chapter.
Just as an adverb (see 10.2) functions to modify a following verb, adnouns are forms that work to modify a following noun. They are bound forms that cannot be used independently.
