ABSTRACT
This final section of the book contains translations of the songs. Each of the next five chapters-one for each type of song-starts with a brief introduction followed by a selection of the songs and annotations to facilitate their understanding. This introductory chapter provides some information on the structure of the songs, the language, the dating, and on the most frequently used metaphors.
