INTRODUCTION: The story never stops beginning . . . but the journey starts

It may be that stories never stop beginning or ending, but this is where I pause, take a breather and surrender the stories gathered from learning and teaching encounters in an international higher education context to a wider audience. Sufficient ground has now been covered, albeit much of it very slippery and uncertain, to provoke other conversations with you, the reader.
