ABSTRACT
The brief nature of the present volume poses a real danger that readers will come to view ACT in practice as no more than the collection of strategies, metaphors, and interventions that have been described over the previous points. In reality, delivering ACT interventions in a manner consistent with its underlying philosophy requires much more than a familiarity with its theory and technical content.
