ABSTRACT
ACTION: I talked to Ricky and Brendan together and told them what I saw happen. I explained to Brendan that it was a very unkind thing to do to punch Ricky and something we don’t allow in nursery and school. I got him to say ‘sorry’ to Ricky. Talked to them about ‘sharing’ – asked how they could share the tractor. All agreed that they would take turns – two goes each before swapping. All staff to keep an eye on the situation and praise both boys when they are seen to be sharing toys and taking turns. Tell Brendan’s mum what happened. Review situation next week in staff meeting (date…).
