ABSTRACT

Human beings have a natural inclination to rely on one another, be it in the personal or professional spheres of their lives. When one considers the amount of time most people spend in the workplace, it is easy to see why professional relationships are infl uential, signifi cant, and inescapable. Smart employers have been aware of these natural relationships and have used them to develop programs to improve, enhance, and maintain employee well-being, knowing full well that mental health is crucial to productivity in the workplace.
