ABSTRACT

The Family Strengths and Concerns Assessment is an instrument designed to assist therapists working with individuals, couples, or families. Clients entering therapy may be hesitant to verbalize some of their concerns; this instrument provides a comprehensive list of concerns from which clients can communicate their problems to the therapist. In addition, clients may fail to consider some of the strengths that are inherent in themselves, their relationships, or their family. The questions on this instrument can bring those strengths into focus for both the client and the therapist.
