ABSTRACT
As already considered in previous chapters, economic integration between the Member States has always been a central theme of the EU. In order to ensure that this aim is achieved, the TFEU provides that all obstacles to the free movement of goods, persons, services and capital be abolished within the EU (Art 26 TFEU).
