ABSTRACT
This chapter outlines some of the key participatory methods that can be used to communicate with young children. It begins with an overview of the key issues that need to be considered by social workers in using these methods before outlining each of the main methods in turn. An exercise at the end of the chapter will help social workers think about how these might apply to their daily practice.
