ABSTRACT
There are, however, very few quantatative data on the performance of bunker sands. This study was initiated to look specifically at the plugging depth of golf balls, the angle of repose of the sand and the stability of the material. It had the objective of assessing whether the performance of bunker sands could be predicted from the morphometric characteristics of grain size, uniformity and shape.
