ABSTRACT
Introduction Our aim is to analyse the way in which the shape and weight distribution of the clubhead influences the characteristics of the club and to develop mathematical models which can be used to design clubheads with desired properties. The final design will result from a combination of our theoretical analysis and the computer aided design systems developed by our Glasgow colleagues.
