The Natural Resources Program of the United Nations University: three case studies of an integrated approach in China

The main purpose of the UN University's Program on Resource Policy and Management is to conduct research, to provide advanced trainmg, and to disseminate information which will help improve the quality of the human environment, particularly in rural areas of developing countries. In various projects, attempts are made to introduce systems for environmentally sound management and to influence public policy by providing guidelines.
