ABSTRACT
When you undertook your AS production work it may well have been your first opportunity to explore the use of media production technology to create your own media product. What you were expected to produce at AS was supported by a fairly tightly designed framework that offered you a great deal of support as you explored and came to terms with the technology. Working within such a defined context should have made it clear to you what you had to do in order to meet the requirements of the specification. You will, however, find that production work at A2 opens up for you a number of creative opportunities and that it gives you much more of a chance to explore the potential of the medium that you have chosen to work with.
