ABSTRACT

That is not to say that I believe the leadership of the Trade Unions to have been equally wise in other respects Subsequent sections of this pamphlet will show where I think it has gone wrong What I am saying in this opening section is that in respect of wages the Trade Unions have managed to hold up to now the substantial advantages gained during the war years, and could not have done much better than this unless there had been a frontal attack on capitalism as a system-an attack requiring political action of a drastic Socialist kind.
