ABSTRACT
Our analysis of mindlines therefore made it difficult to escape the conclusion that the current assumptions of the EBP movement are misguided about both the nature of evidence and the context of its use. Adding new pieces of research information to mindlines and expecting ‘knowledge transfer’ to occur is like adding leaves to the compost bin and expecting to see them on your flower beds next year.
